Since Mark got a clean bill of health after his surgery we decided to go ahead,as semi-planned, and have a birthday party for Hunter. His request was for a sledding party which concerned me when the weather turned to lots of rain on the day before. I also realized that I hadn't even sent out invitations other than on Facebook (because of being so consumed with taking care of Mark) but that didn't stop us from having a WONDERFUL time.
The kids still decided to go sledding, it was fast and fun.
Here are the 3 little brothers; Bennett, Chase and Bram. Brave little guys.
These two always wanted to be pulled up the hill, no easy task.
Because it had warmed up so much Larissa and Cormac were able to make a snowman, which was perfect for a Snowman themed party! It is extremely rare in our part of Alaska to have wet enough snow that will stick together.
Aunt Megan made an awesome cake for Hunter. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Hunter drew his first picture that actually looked like something recognizable!
We had a lot of fun decorating treat bags and pinning the parts on the snowman.
After cake and presents we ended with a homemade pinata and lots of candy. Happy birthday Hunter, you are such a wonderful addition to our family!
