First Snow!

We got our first snow in town last Sunday. We have been watching it creep down the mountains but we woke up to a small blanket in the morning. Here is Hunter heading off down to the neighbors house in his puffy snow suit and new boots.
We went to visit our neighbors and check out their snow covered pumpkins.
Visiting Astoria; what a contrast with the bright pink and blue!
Hunter in the hat that Grandma made for him, it couldn't be more perfect and warm.

We mostly explored while Dad finished changing his car to snow tires because he barely made it to and from church a block away. Hunter got in and helped a bit.

Then it was time to try out the sled in the backyard.

A very small slope but a VERY happy boy. He said "one more time" each time he got to the bottom.

It's nice to have captured some smiles because he is usually too busy to catch one on camera.

This picture was to try and capture the beautiful mountains in the background.

The first snow made for a fun afternoon.  If only it didn't take 20 minutes to get him all bundled up we would go out more times in a day.

Lauren, I've tried emailing your gmail account to get our boys together, but it came back to me! Will you leave a comment on my blog with your email? I won't publish it, promise.

Hunter looks so cute. I love the hat his grandma made for him. We just had our first snow too. It lasted the weekend but has melted away. The kids were so excited to play in it though.
