The last few Saturdays we have gone snow-shoeing. The weather has been fairly mild, the days are getting longer, and cabin fever is reaching it's peak.
In our optimism, we were calling these hikes 'hunting' trips, but in reality it was more that we were tromping through the brush with guns. We had hopes of finding lots of rabbits, but as we found out, turning white in the winter is an amazing form of camouflage for the snowshoe hares.
All in all they were fun trips. we were able to get out and explore new areas.
