Grandpa Slocombe got tickets to a UAA hockey game and invited us along.
Bennett was mesmerized by everything the second we walked in. He took it all in bright eyed.
Checking to see if Grandpa was paying attention.
This was Hunter's favorite part, when the little kids came out to play.
Telling Dad that when he is 4 he could probably do that!
Putting on the charm to convice Dad that this would be a GOOD idea.
The man behind us generously let the boys use his cow bell.
The only problem was that there was only one and it became a battle in the bleachers between these two boys.
For the last period Hunter wandered over to Grandpa and got the play-by-play.
Bennett got a big scare when he decided to go play on the seats in front of us. Just as he was teetering between seats UAA scored and the buzzer sounded. Scared him to death and thankfully Mark caught him.
They tied 2-2 and Hunter is ready for his turn on the ice. Too bad our pockets are not deep enough for hockey!

I hear that bigger than the money, it's a time commitment. You offer your boys so much without the rigid schedule of a coach, I don't think they'll miss a thing with you and Mark as their 4 grandparents in town helping them live such a full life! I love to watch hockey, but no thanks to that schedule of practices and games!
