Mark is in the heart of hunting season. Attempting to get a moose to feed us through the next year. He turned 30 a few months back and we threw him a huge "surprise" party. He is busy and busy is good.
This little guy is growing and developing sooooo fast! He is a social butterfly and loves giving everyone smiles when they catch his eye. He eats everything in sight which unfortunately means things he finds left behind by brother on the floor. We are working on re-baby proofing the house. He started crawling this week and is truly our miracle baby (his birth story is in the works, it is long but amazing).
Our little family took a visit down to Las Vegas back at the beginning of the summer. We captured some pictures to keep this time in our lives in memory. I am not sure we got one where everyone was looking and smiling but I love looking through them because that is our life, a bit chaotic but beautiful nonetheless.
This big guy is so amazing. He talks and reasons all day long. He is constantly saying "because.." and explaining why he is or is not doing something. He decided to be potty trained and we are running with it. He is sad that all his cousins have left and the neighborhood boys have all gone back to school so we are trying our very best to keep busy. We just spent 2 days camping with Grandpa Slocombe and he wore us all out by making his rounds on a 3 wheel scooter. What joy he brings to my days.
Fall is approaching and we are soaking up the last rays of the midnight sun. We have the fair, the cabin at Seldovia, and lots of raspberry picking to look forward to.

I miss talking to you and knowing what's going on in your life. I hate potty training. Benson does well with using the potty 90% of the time but it is that other 10% that is miserable. I'm glad Bennett is doing well. Are his eyes blue? In the last picture they look light.
Good to hear how things are going.
Hope you have not been blown away with the storms in Anchorage. We have had lots of rain. Sun today though!!! Yea!!!!!
