This summer my oldest brother Chris his wife Teresa and 5 of their kids came to visit for several weeks. We had a lot of fun and a lot of people in and out of the house.
Bryton is 15 and was such a help hauling Hunter around. He is getting too heavy for mom to lug around. We did several hikes and saw about every sight in and around Anchorage. We went camping in Seward. While the family went on a wildlife boat Grandpa Slocombe, Hunter, cousin G* and I stayed in Seward and went on a bike ride and to the Sea life Center.
Despite some rainy weather we enjoyed having campfires and playing Boccie ball.
We hiked to Thunder bird Falls.
Some mandatory rock throwing. When there are rocks and water, what are little boys supposed to do.
We played LOTS and LOTS of board games, ate tons of food (it still amazes me how much food it takes to constantly feed 15 people, thanks Mom for doing a lot of that planning), and made the most of this family time.
Mark had to work out of town a lot of the time but he did manage to take the family on a rafting/fishing trip one evening. It was a blast!
We played lots of volleyball out in the yard. We actually had enough people to have some pretty good games as well as some really not so good games.
Bryton had to get a picture on Brayton drive by Grandma and Grandpa's house because it is the closest thing to his name he will probably ever find. There were so many more things we did but there were just too many pictures to document it all.
We loved having the Slocombe's come and visit and can't wait till they can come back in 3 years!

Whoa! Bryton is soooo grown up. He's huge!
Bryton will be way too old in 3 years. They better come visit AK before then.
Wow, what a long vacation they had. Sounds like you made the most of it. And Hunter looks likes he's still growing!
