Last weekend we had some sunny weather and decided to go and ski up at Powerline Pass. It was so nice to actually be able to feel the warmth of the sun and exercise outside.
Hunter came along in the Chariot on skis, the skis were his birthday present. It makes it nice for Mom too because it slows Dad down and makes me feel like I am skiing with them. I have taken Hunter out a few times on my own and it is no easy business! We get lots of stares and lots of people applauding our efforts.
We went off the trail for a bit to sit on a boulder and have some drinks in the sun.
Meanwhile, Hunter was snoozing. This chariot has the magic charm of putting him to sleep.

Awake and happy after the ski. We had made a lunch and ate it looking out over Anchorage. Hunter LOVES being outside and exploring. He must be a Hamm!
* Disclaimer for non-Alaskans: we were not downhill skiing with our child. This is cross-country skiing on a trail that is relativly flat with a few small hills. We are not endangering our child by skiing down a mountain with him behind us!

Great pictures. Looks like a serious work out. Elizabeth got to explore the back yard for the first time last weekend and loved it too! Wish we could go skiing with you.
