APIA Children's Christmas Party

Mark's work held a Christmas party for the kids. This was a perfect event for Hunter because Christmas celebrations got put on hold when Bennett arrived 6 weeks ahead of schedule.
He ran around he office building non-stop until the party began and only sat down for a few brief moments (and most of these were prompted by some sort of treat).

He got to meet Santa and loved the candy canes he gave him. He wouldn't stop chomping for a picture but what can you expect from a 2 year old with candy.
Santa brought a toy for each of the children. He called them each by name to receive their gifts. This was the only time Hunter sat still the whole party. He was on my lap waiting for his name to be called. Mark wasn't sure he knew what was going on but when his name was finally called....
He jumped down, ran to Santa, grabbed the gift, and started to open it immediately. We turned him back around for a picture and a "thank you" to Santa.

When he opened this monster truck and road he was so excited.
Hunter truly enjoyed himself and promptly fell asleep on the way home!

What a darling picture that last one is, especially! So glad to see you've had some fun this holiday, besides the stress of the NICU. You're in our prayers!
